  Went to see a PA and was told a self pay office visit would cost 150. I paid 150 at the visit and then was billed an additional 140 for the office visit. Apparently, there are different levels of an appointment. I was totally blindsided by the extra charge as no one told me there would be an addition charge for office visit alone. I did receive a bill for x-rays, which I expected, (a separate charge) as I did have them done at the visit. I was charged for a psychological test which I never did at my visit. I called an talked to Jennifer in the billing department on a few different occasions about getting the psychological test removed. She called back and just insisted that I just pay my bill. I explained that I would be happy to make arrangements to pay my bill when they took they took the psyche test off. She even agreed that it was probably a mistake and that she never heard back from her supervisor regarding having it removed and she would try again. I never received a return call. I called to check on the status of it, but never reached anyone. Next thing I know, I am receiving a notice from collections in the mail. I wanted to pay my bill and avoid collections. However, I feel that it was unfair that I pay for a service that I never was provided in regards to the psychological testing. I really feel like Emergeortho took advantage of me, and messed up my credit!!! I will not be returning and I will make sure other people know how these thieves operate.
